These organisations share goals we are working towards. They offer useful information and an opportunity to find likeminded people.
The Landworkers’ Alliance is an organisation of farmers, growers and land-based workers. We work to overcome the obstacles facing us by campaigning for policies to support the infrastructure and markets central to our members livelihoods, building alliances and encouraging solidarity.
We also raise awareness of the role that small-scale producers, family farmers and land-based workers play in providing food security, environmental stewardship, rural livelihoods, strong communities, animal welfare and high-quality affordable food.
Permaculture is a design process. It helps design intelligent systems which meet human needs whilst enhancing biodiversity, reducing our impact on the planet, and creating a fairer world for us all. People across the globe are creating thriving communities with permaculture.
Biodynamic Association Biodynamics is about the complete package. For us agriculture is a sacred endeavour, and the foundation for all our well-being. Our roots are ecological, ethical, social and spiritual. Our aim is to regenerate the health and vitality of our soils, gardens and land; the integrity of our food; and the health and wholeness of our communities.
Global ecovillage network The Global Ecovillage Network envisions a world of empowered citizens and communities, designing and implementing pathways to a regenerative future, while building bridges of hope and international solidarity.
Fellowship for Intentional Communities
Intentional communities are groups of people living together with some shared resources on the basis of explicit common values.
The Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the development of intentional communities, and the evolution of cooperative culture.
A Fairer Society works to support groups wanting to create eco-communties. They offer advice, support and they have the architects and builders etc on call to help groups make their projects reality. They can help with creating a healthy social life, securing funding and buying the right site, as well as offering a Facebook group to meet others who share the dream.
