Cafe, tea garden and restaurant

Creating a café with tea garden will give visitors a chance to have a sit down, enjoying both our produce and the lovely surroundings. It is also a good place for Gardians to meet up over lunch or a cup of tea and have a chat.

In the tea garden, we can grow trees and shrubs that look nice, smell nice and have fruit on them. There are tables to sit outside, some in the sun, some in the shade, each feeling quite intimate due to the plantings creating some privacy.

In the café, we could sell herbal teas and juices; salads, some made with flowers, or dried fruits or nuts; bowls with the diverse types of nuts or flowers; pies and cakes; soups; omelettes, sandwiches and ice-cream etc.

Adding a restaurant, where our new foods are be expertly prepared, would be a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to our food plants.

This can become a first-class restaurant, with a top chef who loves to experiment with 'new' foods. It will become a place where the rich want to come and dine.
